Summary
Each colony offered its own unique population, religions, and opportunity. Economic structures varied, but they all had one thing in common: trade. Trade drove the colonial economy. Slaves were an important part of this system in every colony. Politically speaking, some towns offered fairer government than others, but it would not be long before the colonies would come together to fix that problem. Though the colonies had different identities, they have helped mold The United States of America as we know it today.
